Tror jentefostre blir valgt bort

09.01.12 – Av Shazia Sarwar og Synnøve Åsebø

En norsk studie avslører at indisk-norske kvinner føder unormalt mange guttebarn. Forskerne tror jentefostre blir bevisst valgt bort.

David Horowitz & Kathleen Walter – Occupy Wall Street Protesters Are Idiots – November 17, 2011

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, Horowitz, a former radical leftist who converted to conservatism in the 1980s, was asked about the Occupy Wall Street protesters and their ongoing demonstrations in Manhattan and elsewhere.

“They are idiots,” Horowitz declares.

“If you’ve watched their interviews you know that they’re morons. But what is behind them is ACORN, George Soros, and the core of the Democratic Party. That’s why we ought to pay attention to them.”

As to whether the Occupy movement has been spontaneous or manipulated by the organized left, Horowitz says: “I think it’s both. It’s like a chicken-and-an-egg question.

(Weekendavisen 01.07.2011)

Research on Muslims in Danish schools: Extremely low intellectual skills, undisciplined, disrespectful, unambitious parents

by Nicolai Sennels on July 6, 2011

I am currently working as a school psychologist, and below I will try to decipher the latest school report on immigrant students in Denmark. In Denmark, we use “bilingual” as a word for immigrant student — and according to the report, by far most of these students are Turks, Pakistanis, Arabs and Serbs/Croatians. While Serbs and Croatians perform normally, the Muslim students perform very poorly. Below the chart are some of the salient facts.

The World Will Be More Crowded – With Old People

Actually, the children aren’t our future.

By Phillip Longman | Sept/Oct 2011

Logo Foreign Policy MagazineDemography is not destiny, as is sometimes claimed. The human race could be wiped out by a plague or an asteroid, or transformed by some new technology. But no matter what, today’s patterns of fertility, migration, and mortality fundamentally determine how much society will or can change for many generations to come.

And what demography tells us is this: The human population will continue to grow, though in a very different way from in the past. The United Nations’ most recent “mid-range” projection calls for an increase to 8 billion people by 2025 and to 10.1 billion by century’s end.

A Worldwide War against Baby Girls: Sex-Selective Abortion Goes Global

Sex-selective abortion–terminating a pregnancy based on gender–is a modern phenomenon. As the expense of sex-selection technology like ultrasound plummets, it is being used in a growing number of countries, almost universally to eliminate girls, and generally with the assistance of health care professionals. In her new book, Unnatural Selection (PublicAffairs, June 2011), Mara Hvistendahl, a Beijing-based correspondent for Science magazine, documents how this practice has severely altered the natural balance of boys and girls in increasingly many societies, including China, South Korea, Vietnam, India, and the Caucasus republics. Is the worst yet ahead? Is there hope for reversing this scourge? Join us for what promises to be an enlightening–and sobering–discussion with the author and AEI scholar Nicholas Eberstadt.

Den islamiske verden fører også krig imod kvinder:

For Girls, Idealism Can Be Deadly

Dr. Laina Farhat-Holzman – June 15, 2011

President Kennedy urged American youth to consider a stint in the Peace Corps where they could help the world’s poor and spread American values. Thousands have heeded this call, and for many, their time abroad was a valuable learning experience. But for many others, mostly young women, there was a big problem that was swept under the carpet until now: rape.

The idea that women and men are equally human and entitled to equal opportunities and dignity is very new. The United States and Europe have pioneered this social revolution, but in some places around the world, this notion is either unknown or vigorously rejected. Sub-Saharan Africa and the Muslim world are the worst offenders.

Crowded Waters

The superpower battle for regional supremacy in the South China Sea is heating up once again.

By Abraham M. Denmark | June 7, 2011

Logo Foreign Policy MagazineFor the last two years, a quiet showdown has played out over the South China Sea, the body of water bordered by China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines, and Taiwan. This little-known body of water is of vast strategic importance: Fully one-third of the world’s maritime trade traverses the South China Sea, and some optimistic estimates of its untapped stores of oil and natural gas would make it a second Persian Gulf. The South China Sea is also a major highway linking the oil fields of the Middle East and the factories of East Asia, with more than 80 percent of China’s oil imports (and large percentages for Japan and South Korea as well) flowing over its waters. As influential Asia-watcher Robert D. Kaplan has put it, the South China Sea’s importance to the region makes it the “Asian Mediterranean.”

Mounting territorial aggression destabilizes the region and puts the global economy at risk

By Michael Auslin – June 14, 2011

If China were a U.S. congressman, it would be Tweeting threatening pictures of its biceps to its rivals.

Beijing recently warned Vietnam and the Philippines not to explore for oil in disputed waters that China claims, and late last month Chinese naval patrol craft allegedly cut the surveying cable of a Vietnamese seismic research boat. Manila’s recent grievances against China are similarly severe. The Philippine government claims that China has harassed its exploration vessels, illegally unloaded supplies to build an oil rig in disputed waters and sent fighter jets into its airspace.

The 21st Century Battlefield

Over the past 20 years, administrations of both political parties have under-funded the military. Today, as the economy stalls and the government appears to be unable to control spending in other areas, defense spending is under attack again. Two decades of underinvestment and a decade of military conflict have left the U.S. military too small and inadequately equipped to answer the nation’s call today, much less tomorrow. The Heritage Foundation is highlighting the need for increased defense spending during its third annual Protect America Month. Leading conservatives and defense experts are showcasing national security issues and why we must commit to protecting America in an increasingly dangerous world. Join us as Representative Allen West examines the battlefield of the 21st Century in the closing address of this year’s Protect America Month programs.

China’s Port in Pakistan?

China’s dream of Indian Ocean ports — the so-called string of pearls — is heightening geopolitical tensions in a rough neighborhood.

By Robert D. Kaplan | May 27, 2011

Pakistani officials have announced that the Chinese look favorably on taking over the operation of the Arabian Sea port of Gwadar close to the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz, and perhaps building a naval base for the Pakistanis there as well. The Chinese have apparently contradicted these claims, indicating that they have made no such decisions on these matters.

The fact that Pakistan should want deeper Chinese involvement with this strategically located port, even as the Chinese are hesitant to do just that, should surprise no one. Gwadar is where dreams clash with reality.

How I lost faith in multiculturalism

By Greg Sheridan – April 02, 2011

Logo The AustralianIn 1993, my family and I moved into Belmore in southwest Sydney. It is the next suburb to Lakemba. When I first moved there I loved it.

We bought a house just behind Belmore Sports Ground, in those days the home of my beloved Bulldogs rugby league team. Transport was great, 20 minutes to the city in the train, 20 minutes to the airport.

On the other side of Belmore, away from Lakemba, there were lots of Chinese, plenty of Koreans, growing numbers of Indians, and on the Lakemba side lots of Lebanese and other Arabs.

That was an attraction, too. I like Middle Eastern food. I like Middle Eastern people. The suburb still had the remnants of its once big Greek community and a commanding Greek Orthodox church.
