Borgerkrig i fuld skala, mener højtstående kilder i FNs fredsbevarende styrker - Herve Ladsous, the U.N.’s peacekeeping chief - i et interview i New Zealand’s Rhema Radio.
Syrian Rebels tried to get Alex Thomson Channel 4 Reporter killed to boost anti-Assad Propaganda
From New Zealand’s Rhema Radio: The United Nations says Syria is now involved in all-out civil war, after their own UN Monitors were shot at by rebel forces. As we’ve heard, there are terrible tales of children being used as human shields, tortured and killed and increasingly, calls for other nations to take some sort of action. Now Russia’s giving the Syrian regime attack helicopters — and it’s clear the rebel forces are also being armed from somewhere.

“Laser uranium enrichment is so attractive that that it will be implemented — and Iran will become the test case. What must be demanded is the complete opening of the country to appropriate inspection. Anything else would be too little – much too little.” Hans Ruhle
German nuclear weapons expert Hans Rühle warned in the daily Die Welt May 21 that Iran can enrich uranium using laser technology that is much harder to detect than centrifuges. Rühle headed the German Defense Ministry’s policy planning staff during the 1980s. In a widely-discussed commentary last February 17, he argued that Israel has the capacity to cripple Iran’s nuclear weapons program. He also presented evidence in Die Welt that Iran may have tested a nuclear weapon in North Korea.
“Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadihejad announced in 2010 the ‘good nuclear news’ that Iran then possessed laser technology for uranium enrichment. Iran would not use this technology immediately, Ahmadinejad insisted, but his extremely positive characterization of the new technological option casts strong doubt on Iran’s intentions and suggests that Iran’s voluntary restraint on enrichment is an attempt at diversion,” Rühle wrote in his May 21 analysis.

Egypt’s Nightmare: Islamists or the Military?
By Nonie Darwish – June 6, 2012
The laws of nature are uncovering Egypt’s nightmare after the revolution when Egyptians are suddenly facing the limitations and suppression Islam has created in their political institutions over decades and even centuries. The political drama keeps unfolding exposing only two deeply rooted forces who are the winners in the recent elections, namely the Islamists represented in the Muslim Brotherhood, or Askar, Arabic for military.
When the Egyptians where given the chance to vote in their president for the first time in their over five thousand year long history, they found themselves instinctively electing Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood and Ahmed Shafiq, a no nonsense military leader and former Prime Minister. One of two men will win soon in the general election. The first represents a Sharia based Theocracy, while the second who is the lesser of two evils, represents the military. Traditionally the Muslim world has resorted to brute military force as the only way to restrain and contain the Islamists. But either choice has never accomplished a democracy based on freedom of citizens. Thus either choice for Egyptians will bring them back to square one; back to tyranny under either system, a destiny no Muslim state has succeeded to avoid.

Med dold kamera i svenska moskéer med SVT:s Uppdrag Granskning
Hela Uppdrag granskning 2012-05-16 Uppdrag granskning i kväll var andlöst spännande. Janne Josefsson skickade in två Niqab-klädda kvinnor i 10 svenska moskéer.

A briefing by Robert Spencer April 24, 2012
Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch, has released a new book titled, Did Muhammad Exist? An Inquiry into Islam’s Obscure Origins. On April 24th, Mr. Spencer spoke on his book at a joint meeting of the Middle East Forum and Gatestone Institute in New York City.
Did the Prophet Muhammad really exist, or was he a sacred myth fashioned by the Koran decades after his purported death? Robert Spencer has addressed this thorny question with a dual intent:

“Did Mohammed Exist?” Scholar, Robert Spencer’s inquiry into Islam’s obscure origins
Show Information
Air Date: February 21, 2012
Host: Vic Eliason
Guest: Walid Shoebat
Walid Shoebat was born in Bethlehem, Israel. As a young man he became a member of the PLO and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel. He was once imprisoned in Jerusalem for enticement of violence. After entering the U.S. he worked as a counselor for the Arab Student Organization in Chicago. In 1993, Walid studied the Bible in a challenge to convert his wife to Islam and instead he converted to Christianity. Walid has authored several books including “Why We Want to Kill You”, “Why I Left Jihad”, “For God or For Tyranny” and “God’s War on Terror”
Walid began by defining taqiyya which is the tactic of lying in order to further the cause of Islam. He noted that muruna, however, takes taqiyya a step further. It’s a stealth strategy that sanctions all prohibitions within Islam, even blasphemous and violent ones.
Vic and Walid looked at examples of how this tactic of muruna has affected our nation’s view of Islam. They include:
Last year the U.S. Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, told Congress that the Muslim Brotherhood is largely secular.
A devout Muslim, Mohamed Elibiary, has been named to the Homeland Security Advisory Council and has been given access to sensitive data.
According to the Judicial Watch Blog, the FBI has destroyed instructional material that characterizes Muslims as prone to violence or terrorism. Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress that anti-Muslim instructional materials hurt the country’s fight against terrorist groups like al-Qaeda.

End the Shariah War on Women
Og den meget lange følgetekst – Clare Lopez dukkede aldrig op:
This Thursday, May 10th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bloomberg Room of the National Press Club, the Center for Security Policy launches a national public education campaign to ask America’s leaders to end the real ‘war on women’ — the Shariah War On Women. (http://www.theshariahwaronwomen.org)
Shariah law oppresses women’s liberties and human rights, denying them their unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness:
* Life: Shariah destroys women’s lives through honor killings, physical abuse, female genital mutilation, and rape. This occurs not only to Muslim women but also to Christian and secular women through acts of kidnapping, imprisonment and murder.
* Liberty: Shariah crushes women’s liberty through censoring free speech, freedom of religion and freedom of association.
* Pursuit of Happiness: Shariah punishes women’s pursuit of happiness by denying equal rights and freedom in marriage, divorce, child custody, education and employment
A panel discussion, moderated by Center President Frank J. Gaffney, Jr. and featuring several prominent civil liberties and human rights activists, will launch the national campaign to end the Shariah War On Women. Panelists will include:
Nonie Darwish: Ms. Darwish is an American human rights activist, writer, public speaker as well as founder and Director of Former Muslims United and founder of Arabs For Israel. Adolf Hitler, Our Contemporary
April 23, 2012 - Srdja Trifkovic
Hitler is 123, and he is alive and well. The Führer is going strong not because a vast neo-Nazi conspiracy is about to take over the Western world, kill the Jews, expel the Muslims and make April 20 the Day of Aryan Rebirth, but because he is an all-time favorite of the neoconservative-neoliberal duopoly at home and abroad.
When you advocate bombing a faraway nation of which we know little, call its leader a new Hitler (and, by extension, condemn the failure to bomb as a new “Munich”). When you want to discredit domestic opponents of migratory population replacement or abortion, compare them to Hitler. When you want to demonize the European civilization, Christian religion, national identity, or traditional culture, Hitler is ready. Six decades after the phenomenon was defined by Leo Strauss as reductio ad Hitlerum, the practice is more widely spread than ever. If you dislike a person/policy/idea, find a Hitlerian point of contact and thus prove that the PPI in question is a priori bad, mad and worthy of criminalization.

Just a Regular French Youth
by Srdja Trifkovic • March 23, 2012
As soon as I heard the news I suspected the score. “Far-Right extremists!” screamed the media pack, but my hunch was right: the murderer of a rabbi and three children at a Jewish school near Toulouse, and of three French soldiers only days earlier, was not French. He was a French citizen of Algerian descent, as we now know, but his allegiance and his identity had nothing to do with passports and ID cards.
Mohammed Merah (23), who was killed at his apartment on Thursday after a 30-hour standoff, was a Muslim—one of at least twenty million who now inhabit the European Union. The “context” was duly provided by The New York Times: “Much of the concern about domestic terrorism in Britain, Belgium, Germany and France has focused on these young people, who may have had little formal religious education but are susceptible to calls for jihad, especially when their own lives have been marked by disappointment, crime, racism and joblessness.”
The suggested narrative about this “soft-spoken and alienated youth” is clear:
by Srdja Trifkovic • March 30, 2012 • Printer-friendly
President Nicolas Sarkozy announced March 30 that French police have arrested 19 persons suspected of belonging to violent Muslim networks. “These arrests are linked to the world of a certain sort of radical Islamism,” Sarkozy told Europe 1 Radio, and added that automatic weapons were found in the homes of some of those arrested in the raids in and around Paris and several other French cities.
It is striking that Sarkozy added matter-of-factly that the arrests were not related to Mohamed Merah, the Muslim terrorist killed by police last week after he murdered seven people in the Toulouse area. This raises some troubling questions.
Most Western media professionals tend to subscribe, consciously or not, to a neo-liberal world outlook in general and to the tenets of multiculturalism in particular. The result is notable media favoritism of allegedly disadvantaged, non-Western, traditionally non-Christian societies.
Behind the veneer of all-embracing diversity, however, we find a carefully calibrated scale of acceptance or rejection of “the Other” depending on the cultural and political preferences of the media professionals themselves. The result is moral and intellectual relativism, which enables the media elite to pick and choose, which group or nation will be approved for the status of sympathy or victimhood, and which will be denied the benefit of the doubt.
Croatia and Nazi Germany: April 10, 1941: A Dark Day In History
by Srdja Trifkovic – May 1, 2012
Some important Westerners may prefer to look forward, to forget, minimize, or even deny, the fruits of the Croatian Holocaust of 1941-45 and its revived legacy of 1995. The endeavor is flawed. Sins unatoned for will continue coming back to haunt us.
The range of moral and political issues raised by the Ustaša movement and the regime it established in Croatia on April 10, 1941, is comparable to the Third Reich. In both cases, a political group, organized into a regime, devoted extraordinary resources to mass murder based on the victims’ race, creed or ethnicity. In both cases most ordinary Germans and ordinary Croats – those not directly affiliated with the regime, or overtly supportive of its goals and methods – opted for passive acquiescence. In both cases only a small minority was directly involved in the killing. In both cases the perpetrators understood why it had to be done; the mass murder made sense to them.
Both demographically and politically, the republic has a precarious present and an uncertain future.
An Orthodox church was set ablaze in the southwestern part of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) on January 30. The incident reflects raising tensions between local Christian Slavs and Albanians, more than a decade after an Albanian rebellion brought FYROM to the verge of an ethnic war. It also evokes memories of the early stages of the conflict in Kosovo, in the late 1980s.
The Church of St. Nicholas, in the majority Albanian-Muslim village of Labuniste, was two centuries old and housed valuable icons. The arson at Labuniste followed the burning of a Macedonian flag and the raising of Albanian and Islamic banners in the neighboring town of Struga, allegedly in reaction to an incident of “mocking Islam” at a local carnival last month.
The town, on the shores of Lake Ohrid, lies at the southern edge of the line of ethnic separation between the two communities.

The Devil We Don’t Know, Part I

The “Arab Spring.” The mainstream media clung to this phrase last year in their giddy haste to promote what they saw as a flowering of freedom-loving, democratic uprisings across the Arab world, for which they were eager to credit President Obama’s famed Cairo speech as partial inspiration. Instead, it unfolded with freedom-hating Islamic fundamentalists seizing political dominance, and the Arab Spring came to look more a Muslim Winter. What went wrong?
Mark Tapson: You write that “liberty and equality for women in the Middle East are closely linked to defeating sharia.” But you note that “Islamic feminism is a twisted kind of feminism that champions pride in Islamic bondage.” Can you elaborate on that?
Nonie Darwish: It is a fact that there is hardly any Islamic feminist movement. How could it be that female citizens of the most oppressive anti-women system on Earth fail to take the opportunity of the Arab Spring to change their destiny and the destiny of their daughters and granddaughters? The answer to this question is very complex and part of the larger problem of Islam itself. Muslim women are at a much greater disadvantage if compared to Western feminists who did not have to overcome death penalties, humiliation, flogging and societal rejection and isolation if they violate religious laws.
The trial of a restaurant owner who denies running a brothel from his Carlisle takeaway has begun. Carlisle Crown court has heard that Azad Miah is pleading not guilty to 17 offences, some involving girls as young as 12.
The 44 year old ran the former Spice of India takeaway on Botchergate until his arrest. The business has since changed management and name. A jury of six men and six women have been sworn in.
On the first day the jury heard how the restaurant owner allegedly preyed on vulnerable young girls by providing them with money, drugs and drink in exchange for sex.The prosecution against 44 year old Azad Miah has alleged he deliberately targetted girls with drug habits or who were in trouble with the police. One girl who he is alleged to have enticed into prostitution aged 14 had been a heroin user since the age of 12.Miah faces a total of 17 charges over a six year period from January 2005 to March 2011 relating to seven girls aged between 12 and 16 at the time. One of the allegations is that he ran a brothel from the Spice of India take away that he owned on Botchergate in Carlisle. The business is now under different ownership and has since changed its name. Miah is denys all the charges. Our reporter Matthew Taylor was at the trial at Carlisle Crown Court and sent this report.

The Devil We Don’t Know: The Dark Side of Revolutions in the Middle East
Human rights activist Nonie Darwish assesses the potential for freedom to succeed following the recent revolutions in the Middle East. The powerful wave of uprisings has fueled both hope and trepidation in the region and around the world as the ultimate fate – and fallout – of the Arab Spring continue to hang in the balance. Darwish examines the ramifications of the game-changing recent revolts and the factors that will obstruct or support freedom and democracy in the Muslim world. Born and raised as a Muslim in Egypt and now living in the United States, she brings an informed perspective to this assessment of the potential outcome of the revolutions in the Middle East and what the future holds for the people and the politics of the region.
A former journalist for the Middle East News Agency, Nonie Darwish has written extensively on the Middle East, Islam, and women’s rights. “News of the inauguration of a sex shop in the Moroccan city of Casablanca did not stir the ethical and religious controversy expected to take place in a conservative society, but it did take on a political dimension as suspicions arose over an anti-government ploy. The timing of the inauguration of the first sex shop in Morocco drove several activists to view the action as a political one aimed at embarrassing the new Islamist Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane appointed in November 2011″.- Al Arabiya News

The Center for Security Policy welcomes you to Faith Under Fire. In Islamic countries, Christians and other reli-gious minorities are deprived of fundamental rights and sidelined from public life; they endure violent attacks against their churches and homes. In a year’s time, we have witnessed an escalation in the violence, bloody attacks, murder of Christians and the destruction of their churches and homes throughout the Middle East and Africa. Religious and eth-nic cleansing of indigenous Christian communities in Islamic countries is a reality in 2012. We are witnessing events which may precipitate a foreseeable genocide of these indigenous communities in the near future. Proactive engage-ment on these matters by citizens in the US and our Congress is crucial, as we must be a Voice for the Voiceless!

Time to Get Out of Afghanistan
March 19, 2012 – By Robert Spencer
The Afghan mission is imploding, and the Obama administration is covering for Islamic jihadists. Last week, Marine officials revealed that a Marine killed on February 1 in what the Pentagon called “combat operations” at the time was actually murdered by a jihadist in the Afghan army. The cover-up of this latest jihad attack from a supposed ally is emblematic of a failed mission. It is long past time to end the mission in Afghanistan.
Hamid Karzai has said that he wants Afghan forces to take control of the nation’s security in 2013, not 2014 as American officials are planning. Karzai is a scoundrel, but he is right about this, albeit for the wrong reasons. This mission is foredoomed. There is no clearly defined goal, and in any case, any goal worth reaching is impossible to achieve. There is no bringing democracy or humane values to a sharia state, and in any case, we already gave the Karzai regime a sharia constitution, so we aren’t really even trying to do anything effective for women or non-Muslims or the freedom of speech or the freedom of conscience. We’re fighting against an enemy that the vice president of the United States says is not an enemy, and that our client president of Afghanistan threatens to join. How long is this madness going to continue?
Egypt Designates Israel Its Top Enemy — Obama Restores Military Aid
by Robert Spencer on Mar 21st, 2012
Egypt’s parliament, which is dominated by two pro-Sharia Islamic supremacist groups, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists, voted unanimously last Monday to expel Israel’s ambassador to Egypt, and signaled that the Camp David Accords would soon be a thing of the past: Egypt, the parliamentarians declared, would “never” be Israel’s ally. In fact, Israel was Egypt’s “number one enemy.” And how did Barack Obama respond to this egregious trampling upon the agreement that has kept an uneasy peace between Israel and Egypt for thirty years? By announcing a resumption of military aid to Egypt.
From the beginning of the “Arab Spring,” I said repeatedly that it was not a democracy movement, as the Western press was claiming, but an Islamic supremacist takeover that would result in the creation of Sharia states that would be far more hostile to the U.S. and Israel than the Arab nationalist regimes they were supplanting. This assessment was greeted with the usual scorn: the Islamic supremacist media machine charged “Islamophobia,” on Fox Juan Williams said I was “fearmongering,” and the usual suspects made the usual ad hominem attacks. Yet everything that has happened since then has shown that the “Arab Spring” is indeed an Islamic supremacist winter, ushering in repressive Sharia regimes with the enthusiastic blessing of Barack Obama.
They hate us because we’re pigs. No, not the apes and pigs into which Allah transforms the Sabbath-breaking Jews in the Qur’an (2:62-66; 5:59-60; 7:166), but pigs as in…dogs. Wolves. Immoral, lecherous, lustful, fornicating creeps. Western immorality is a frequent feature of the Islamic critique of the contemporary West, as well as a target for the morality police of Sharia states. In the summer of 2009 Iranian authorities even published a list of hairstyles that were acceptably moral and Islamic, as opposed to “decadent” Western imports, among which were the ponytail and the mullet.
That same Western decadence is also a frequent preoccupation of Islamic jihadists. In December 2010, a Muslim named Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly set off explosives on a street in Stockholm that was crowded with Christmas shoppers, killing himself and injuring two others. His wife, who was herself later arrested for helping plan the attack, explained that Abdulwahab “disliked the decadent side of society here.”
Even some non-Muslim writers echo this critique. Dinesh D’Souza argued in his 2007 farrago The Enemy At Home that Islamic jihadists were largely motivated by rage at the West’s “social and moral corruption,” and asserted that “the Muslims who hate us the most are the ones who have encountered Western decadence, either in the West or in their own countries.”
Et klart mønster tegner sig. Konservative medier får etiketten ‘højreorienteret’, hvorimod venstreorienterede får ‘uafhængig’, ‘velanset’ eller ‘troværdig’.
